Dog Behaviour Consultations

Dogs can be described as 'Man's Best Friend', but sometimes this relationship goes wrong.

Problems can take a variety of forms ranging from jumping at visitors to aggression.  Aggression could be directed towards people or other dogs.  It is important to ascertain the motivation for any unwanted behaviour before any modification programme can be implemented.

Firstly, it is necessary for all pets to have received a recent veterinary examination to rule out medical causes for the behaviour.  Then give Pet Training Centre a call.  On acceptance of ours terms we will send you a comprehensive questionnaire which provides us with background information about your pet, your household and the relationship between you and your dog. Our advice is to be as honest as possible in completing the questionnaire.  We will then arrange a home visit with you and your dog to discuss the particular issue you have and provide practical advice on how to modify your dog's behaviour.  Two to three hours should be allowed for this visit.

We will then provide you with a written report containing details what was discussed during the visit and any appropriate modification programme.  Follow up is usually conducted by email or telephone, but further consultations can be arranged at an additional charge.

Costs vary based on travelling time from our base in Sleaford, so please complete the proforma via Contact Us or give us a call.
